The installation of a 13 square metre veranda around a country house near to Wilmslow has brought the rolling hills closer to home for one Cheshire couple.

Manufactured from Trex Transcend® composite decking and installed by specialists Atkins Vause, the walkway adjoins two sides of the substantial property and has been constructed at first floor height so that it extends the living space of the house out into the extensive garden. The veranda is supported at a height of 3m by timber bearers surfaced with acoustic rubber pads to ensure noise transition of footsteps is kept to a minimum.
