DARTFORD BRANCH TO LEND A HELPING HAND TO FREE LOCAL FESTIVAL
We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be a sponsor for this year’s Dartford Festival, which is taking place at the town’s Central Park on the 14th and 15th July. The Mayor of Dartford, a customer of our Dartford branch, introduced us to the event last year, and we’re really excited to be able to give back to the local community in the form of this fantastic free festival again.
We’ll be sponsoring the Community Stage, where local dance, drama and music groups will be showcasing Dartford’s talent! On the main stage throughout the weekend will be live music to suit all tastes, including this year’s Battle of the Bands winners, tvfordogs, Frankie Swain and The McGonigles.
The fun event will also feature a huge variety of family-friendly activities, from an Arts Marquee and funfair to a smoothie bike where attendees can make their own free smoothies. Local sports teams such as Dartford Valley RFC and Dartford Football Club will also be offering some interactive training sessions and games for all ages. There will also be plenty of choice for food, with stalls selling a range of cuisines and real ale.
Staff from our Dartford branch will be there throughout the weekend, so don’t forget to come and say hi!
