Good Causes

The Howarth Timber Group is dedicated to supporting fantastic good causes.

Our nominated charity for an initial two-year partnership is Cancer Research UK, a charity with the vision to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

In the 1970s, less than a quarter of people with cancer survived, but over the last 40 years, survival has doubled. Cancer Research UK’s ambition is to accelerate progress and see three-quarters of people surviving the disease within the next 20 years. 

Our partnership with Cancer Research UK follows a hugely successful four-year deal with Caudwell Children, which saw us raise more than £85,000 to assist with providing family support services, equipment, treatment and therapies for disabled children and their families across the UK.

Thanks to a private annual donation, all of their administration and management costs are covered so that every penny directly donated to Caudwell Children goes towards helping disabled children.
